Sweet Chilli Crispy Beef

Quick and easy recipe to make sweet chilli crispy beef
This sweet chilli sauce is served in the family's Chinese restaurant
Makes for 2 people
Ingredients:
160g beef (1cm wide strips and 7cm long)80g onions
50g red pepper
50g green pepper
25g plain flour
50g water
1/4 teaspoon baking powder (this makes the beef more tender)
2 teaspoon soy sauce (I used gluten free)
1/2 teaspoon pepper
4 tablespoon vegetable oil
200g cornflour (I used gluten free)
1/3 jar Tsang Sweet Chilli Sauce
Prepare the beef
- Put the beef in a bowl
- Add soya sauce, pepper, plain flour, water and baking soda
- Mix it altogether
- Cover each beef strip in cornflour and set aside on a plate
- Spray some oil on the base of the air fryer tray so the beef doesn't stick to it
- Place beef in the tray
- Spray oil over the beef
- Cook for 6 minutes at 200 degrees
- Flip the beef after 6 minutes and then cook for another 6 minutes
- Remove the beef and place on kitchen roll to soak up any oil
Cook the meal
- Add 2 tablespoon of oil into the wok and heat up for 1 minute
- Add in the peppers and onions into your wok and cook to your desired texture
- Add in the Tsang Sweet Chilli Sauce
- When this is bubbling, add in the beef
- Stir it all together for 5 seconds
- Serve with rice
