Sweet Chilli Crispy Prawn

Here is an easy recipe to cook a crispy prawn meal using sweet chilli sauce 

Makes for 2 people

Ingredients:

12 prawns (I used jumbo, uncooked and defrosted prawns)
60g self raising flour (I used gluten free)
80g water
100g bowl of cornflour
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 garlic powder
50g onion
50g red pepper
50g green pepper
Tsang Sweet Chilli Sauce


Prepare the chicken

  1. Place the prawns into a bowl
  2. Add pepper, sea salt and garlic powder
  3. Mix

Prepare the slurry

In a separate bowl, add the flour and water together and mix. 

Prepare the prawns

  1. Dip the prawns into the slurry
  2. Dip into the bowl of cornflour
  3. Ensure each prawn is well covered in cornflour

Cook the prawns

  1. Place the prawns on a baking tray
  2. Spray oil over the prawns
  3. Place into an airfryer for 10 minutes at 200 degrees

Cook the vegetables

  1. Add small amount of vegetable oil to your wok. Heat it up for a few minutes
  2. Add in the onions, red and green peppers
  3. Cook to your desired texture
  4. Add Tsang Sweet Chilli Sauce
  5. When the sauce is starting to bubble, add in the prawns
  6. Stir for 5 seconds
  7. Serve with rice.
