Sweet Chilli Crispy Prawn
Here is an easy recipe to cook a crispy prawn meal using sweet chilli sauce
Makes for 2 people
Ingredients:
12 prawns (I used jumbo, uncooked and defrosted prawns)60g self raising flour (I used gluten free)
80g water
100g bowl of cornflour
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 garlic powder
50g onion
50g red pepper
50g green pepper
Tsang Sweet Chilli Sauce
Prepare the chicken
- Place the prawns into a bowl
- Add pepper, sea salt and garlic powder
- Mix
Prepare the slurry
In a separate bowl, add the flour and water together and mix.
Prepare the prawns
- Dip the prawns into the slurry
- Dip into the bowl of cornflour
- Ensure each prawn is well covered in cornflour
Cook the prawns
- Place the prawns on a baking tray
- Spray oil over the prawns
- Place into an airfryer for 10 minutes at 200 degrees
Cook the vegetables
- Add small amount of vegetable oil to your wok. Heat it up for a few minutes
- Add in the onions, red and green peppers
- Cook to your desired texture
- Add Tsang Sweet Chilli Sauce
- When the sauce is starting to bubble, add in the prawns
- Stir for 5 seconds
- Serve with rice.
