Vegan Sesame "Prawn" Toast
Quick and easy recipe to make vegan sesame "prawn" toast
This sweet chilli sauce is served in the family's Chinese restaurant
Jars of Tsang Sauce can be purchased online and delivered straight to your door
Makes 2 slices
Ingredients:
100g tofu (1.5cm x 1.5cm x 1.5cm)
70g sesame seeds
4 teaspoon vegan oyster sauce (about 20g)
1/2 teaspoon sugar
3 teaspoon sesame oil
2 teaspoon soy sauce
Tsang Sweet Chilli Sauce
Prepare the tofu
- Cut the tofu into small cubes
- Place this into a blender
- Add in the oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce
- Blend it altogether until it is smooth
Make the toast
- Spread the tofu paste on a slice of bread
- Add sesame seeds onto a wide plate tray
- Flip the bread upside down so the tofu sticks to the sesame seeds
- Place in an air fryer
- Spray oil over the bread
- Cook at 200 degrees for 10 minutes
